E-Clip
Add-on accessory for the Iridium Extreme 9575 PTT Satellite Phone that provides the capability for encrypted voice and message traffic to other Extreme phones also equipped with the E-Clip module.
Key Components that enable the E-Clip:
- INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS BOARD: This patented circuit board controls all input/output and data flow for the module and all command logic is stored and executed from this board.
- AES256 ENCRYPTION CHIP: This chip enables encryption and decryption of audio to a commercial grade AES256 standard This is an MIL-SPEC upgraded version of a commercially available chip made exclusive for BSG.
- ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL PCM CONVERSION CHIP: This chip performs an analog-to-digital conversion of audio.
- APPLICATION: Iridium Extreme 9575 PTT.
- DESIGN: Sintered Nylon with textured coating that matches the Iridium 9575 PTT handset.
- ENCRYPTION METHOD: AES256 Commercial Encryption Protocols.
